Below are our terms and conditions for The Hayloft. Please take the time to read them before making a booking. Thank you.
Booking
A deposit of £100 per week is required to confirm a booking or a deposit of 50% is required when booking accommodation for a 3 night stay. The balance should be paid no later than four weeks before arrival. Bookings taken within four weeks of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
Cancellation
If the holidaymaker finds it necessary to cancel the holiday before the final balance is due they should inform the owners immediately who will then endeavour to re-let the property. If the property is re-let, then all deposit monies will be returned less a £20 cancellation charge. If the property is not re-let then, unfortunately, all the deposit monies paid are forfeited.
If the holidaymaker finds it necessary to cancel the holiday after the final balance becomes due, whether or not the final balance has been paid, then unless the house is re-let the holidaymaker will be liable for the full cost of the holiday.
Arrival & Departure Times
The cottages are available from 3pm on the day of arrival until 10am on day of departure. Short breaks of a minimum stay of 3 nights are also available.
Smoking
The Hayloft is a no smoking property and we ask for you to please be respectful of this.
Damage to the property / breakages
Guests undertake to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and also undertake to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. Please report any damages or breakages as soon as possible to allow us to replace these for the arrival of the next guests.
Dogs
We love the dogs in our family and love going on holiday with them so we also love it when our guests can bring their dogs on holiday with them too! Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £20 per dog. Dogs are only allowed downstairs, please do not let them on the bed. Any damage caused by dogs to the property will be charged in full. All dog mess must please be cleared from all garden and communal areas. We are a working farm with sheep and cattle therefore we would be extremely grateful if you can please take care around the animals when out with your dog especially at lambing time.
