Lovely farm cottages in a rural setting but close to shops and restaurants. Beautiful views. Owners have thought of everything, just pack your bags. We have stayed in all 3 cottages, two - 1 bedroom, one - 2 bedroom, each has it's own charm. Very comfortable, clean, warm welcome and friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this break we stayed for a fortnight, the first week was stable cottage the second we were in the hayloft. Very friendly owners made this a real home from home, on a bus route to Darlington that runs every half hour. Great base, lots of home comforts really enjoyed our stay the variety of farm animals and country walks ment we never got bored.

The Hayloft was absolutely lovely. Beautifully decorated with lovely artwork and a cosy kitchen/dining/living area where we could cook and relax with everything we needed. The mezzanine bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The animals and gardens make it feel like a rural retreat although it's also only a short drive to the market town of Darlington.

Sue and her husband are always on hand should you need them but are never intrusive. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and lots of details have been thought of that most cottages seem to forget about. The self catering facilities were beyond expectation. Very happy to recommend for a relaxing stay in beautiful countyside on a working farm.
